Paul has worked in marketing since 1997, both client and agency-side and all within the hospitality industry. He founded Magnify Marketing in April 2005 as an agency to the industry and from 2010, following the success of its delivery of the South Africa World Cup for its clients, the decision was made for Magnify to become a sports specialist to the industry.
This meant managing not just the marketing channels, including content for social and screens, but importantly working hand in hand with the operators, ensuring sports occasions were promoted well and ensuring the customer experience is best in class too.
Bench marking and drawing inspiration from the wider sporting worlds, Magnify has the ambition to drive customer traffic to sporting events watched in the pub, for both the big sporting occasions as well as niche sports and occasions.
Magnify Marketing deliver sport nationally and support companies and brands that include Walkabout, Hawthorn Leisure and Rileys whilst working alongside Sky, BT Sport, AB Inbev, Molson Coors and Matchpint.
Magnify Marketing has also delivered key sports events in pubs that have included Q&A’s, partnerships, ticket giveaways, match day activations and live broadcasts.
